Our mission here at Holloways is to provide a worship environment where the word of God is preached, believers can grow in their spiritual walk and the love of Christ is shared with those who do not know Him as their Lord and Savior. We believe it is vital that we reach out to the community around us to share the love and message of Christ with them.
Holloways Baptist Church was formed in the early 1800’s. The original
church family was made up by a part of Jersey Baptist Church. This group
started meeting in this area due to the distance they had to travel to
worship at Jersey Baptist. Over the years many changes have taken place
at Holloways Baptist Church and most of the Baptist churches in our area
are a spring off of Holloways.
Holloways Baptist Church is a member of the Liberty Baptist Association which is made up of 51 Southern Baptist churches in Davidson County. We support the Southern Baptist Association and the North Carolina Baptist Association. We hold to the 2000 Baptist Faith & Message. We financially support the cooperative program.
We have many programs, activities and worship opportunities that are currently in place. You are welcome to take advantage of any of these. We look forward to worshipping with you soon.
Sunday school begins at 10am. Sunday night is a casual time for Bible study beginning at 5:30pm. On Wednesday night we meet at 7pm, in this service we mix current life issues with Bible truth to help us better live our Christian life. We also have a children’s ministry during Sunday morning worship.
